With manufacturing, sales, and distribution activities located in Chesapeake, Virginia, and with additional toner manufacturing facilities in Hackettstown, New Jersey and Elkton, Maryland, Mitsubishi Kagaku Imaging supplies components for copiers, printers, and fax machines to key OEM and aftermarket customers throughout the world. Organic Photoconductors
Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation was the first manufacturer to produce photoconductors, first utilized in copiers, with materials that were totally organic. This breakthrough meant that once these drum units had reached their product life limit, they could be safely disposed of without special handling and with no danger to our environment.
This revolutionary development has now become the industry standard and today, we produce over 300 different varieties of OPCs to meet the many unique needs of our customers. Our sophisticated production process allows us to easily meet requirements for long product life and consistent high-quality images demanded by today's high-tech standards in digital copiers, laser printers, and other highly advanced photo-imaging devices.
Toners
Our toner products have also advanced in step with the development of a wealth of color-imaging applications. Recognized as the early technology leader in the ability to produce a high quality black toner that resulted in consistent, crisp photo images, our product line now includes a full range of both mono and full-color toners with the same high quality and performance characteristics.
Because we develop and produce both OPCs and Toner, Mitsubishi Kagaku Imaging has the unique ability to marry the properties of these two key components in virtually any imaging application, enabling us to maintain the ability for us and our customers to be innovative market leaders.
